Trekking between France and Italy:
Discover the Grées Alps Massif, we will be setting off to the south of the Mont Blanc Massif on the border chain and then get closer to the Gran Paradiso Massif! The Grées Alps is one of the wildest massifs of the Alps between France and Italy. There are many paths between the Aosta Valley and the Haute Tarentais, and before 1860 these mountains formed a single country: "the Duchy of Savoy". In Valle d'Aosta the Italians speak French, it is an autonomous Italian region. The Alps: several countries reunited by the same mountain culture.
Tour du Mont Blanc:
The Tour du Mont Blanc is one of the most famous routes in the Alps and in the world, hikers from all over the world come to hike around the highest peak in Europe "Mont Blanc and its 4810 meters above sea level". Its massif extends around three countries, France, Italy and Switzerland: three different cultures but a single peak which brings together the inhabitants of our mountains! We propose a Tour du Mont Blanc that follows higher paths, avoiding the bottom of the valleys, which are faster but less beautiful, to favor the most beautiful alternative itineraries and viewpoints on Mont Blanc!

Trekking the Alps: how to get prepared
To well prepare for a Trek, the first thing to do is to choose it well: this is why Esprit Montagne has a clear and precise Level Scale, in order to help you choose the stay according to your physical and technical desires and capacities!
Here is the link for the Technical and Physical Levels for our Stays.
We advise you to progress while focusing on pleasure in order to have energy left at the end of the day and fully enjoy your trekking experience: it is always easier to add a small summit once or twice along the itinerary, than to finish your week with a bitter taste on your mouth because too demanding or difficult for your level.
Your Trekking Guide will help you on the ground to improve technically and they will adapt the pace in order to facilitate the hike during the day, by managing the schedules as well as possible according to the weather and the group level.
Your Trekking documents will help you prepare your backpack and your belongings as good as possible: take care to check if you have all the necessary equipment and that it is of good quality. Try your trekking shoes on, before leaving for your trekking experience, to make sure they don't hurt and they are comfortable.

We organize Trekkings for all levels, we try to discover routes that go beyond the classic paths for all difficulties and the philosophy is always the same: to have fun in the mountains!
Trekking in the Alps with Esprit Montagne: our little "+"
Esprit Montagne is a Small Travel Agency specializing in sporty mountain stays, you can change activity and mountain range in the Alps with always the same idea during your stay.
We are setting up a project of gentle mountain beekeeping to help the conservation of the Black Bee, which is the bee of European origin: unfortunately by importing bees from different corners of the world and the mixture of species by Man to make always more honey, bees have become much more fragile. They can no longer make it through the harsh winters of our mountains. We collaborate with the CETA of Savoy to keep the local species, by carrying out queen breeding at altitude in isolated valleys, so that the species gradually regains its strength, just like the ibex which were less than one hundred in France a few decades ago and which are now thousands after their protection.
Finally, we reduce transports along our itineraries as much as possible and we buy local products along our way, to reduce the weight of the backpacks and increase the quality of the food ...
